Donna Maria Blancero is the Senior Vice President
of Research & Intellectual Development for the
National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA)
and the founding editor of The Business Journal
of Hispanic Research. She earned her Ph.D. in
Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell
University. Active with NSHMBA for more than 13
years, she was the Chair of the Board in 2004-2005
and was also on the National Board of MENTóR,
the National Hispanic Employee Association.
As a Fellow of the Carnegie Foundation for the
Advancement of Teaching, Donna actively pursues innovative techniques inside and
outside the classroom. Currently, she is a member of the faculty for UCLA’s Latino
Leadership Institute. Previously, she was on the faculty at the W. P. Carey School of
Business and a Research Faculty Affiliate of the Hispanic Research Center, both at
Arizona State University.
With more than 35 publications and dozens of national presentations, Donna’s area
of research and expertise is Latinos in Corporate America, focusing on their experiences
with regard to mentoring, developmental networks, work family balance, gender
differences, discrimination, fair treatment and psychological contracts.
Jim Huerta has over 25 years experience working at senior management levels for Fortune 100 companies (Viacom International Inc.), international banks (Lloyds Bank, PLC), consulting firms (Competitive Technologies Inc.) and as a Chief Executive at small to medium size enterprises. Jim is a highly regarded expert in organizing management teams from a variety of disciplines operating within a virtual organizational structure. His successful track record has earned him seats on Boards of Directors of companies in the Intellectual Property, Media & Communication and Video Language Services sectors.He is the current President of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), New York Chapter, Executive Director of the Accessible Media Industry Coalition (AMIC), an organization whose members provide video languages services and the past Chair of the Connecticut Chapter of the Licensing Executive Society (LES), an international society involved in intellectual property. Jim is a frequent expert panelist in forums focusing on leadership, virtual organizations and diversity. Fluent in Spanish Jim earned his BBA from Baruch College and his MBA from the University of New Haven

Robert (Rob) DelCampo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Organization Studies at the University of New Mexico, holding the ASM Foundation Endowed Fellowship. His teaching interests lie in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, while his research interests focus on the underrepresented members of the workforce (Hispanics in particular), turnover, and psychological contracts. Rob has published or presented over 30 papers in his brief academic career. Rob earned a Ph.D. from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ in 2004, and holds MBA and undergraduate degrees from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Following the scholar/practitioner model, C. Douglas Johnson attempts to leverage his 15 years of applied business experience with his academic training as an industrial/organizational psychologist. He is an alumnus of General Electric’s human resource leadership development program, where he was exposed to a range of HR functions (e.g., compensation and benefits, recruiting and selection, HRIS, employee relations, diversity management). He has also worked as an HR practitioner/consultant with organizations such as United Technologies Corporation, PeopleSoft, IBM, the City of Atlanta, and Michelin North America. Johnson uses his applied experiences to inform his research and teaching.Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Management at Georgia Gwinnett College. He received his B.S. in accounting from Clemson University, a MBA in human resources from the University of Connecticut, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Georgia. His research interests include business education, careers, and diversity, with a focus on the experiences of organizational outsiders within (those who have been marginalized, harassed, and/or discriminated against). His research has appeared in outlets such as the Academy of Management Learning and Education, The Business Journal of Hispanic Research, Educational and Psychological Measurement, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Career Assessment, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and Equal Opportunities International.

Dr. Miguel (Mickey) Quiñones is the Marilyn and Leo Corrigan Endowed Professor of Management and Organizations in the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He received his B.S. in psychology from Texas A&M University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Michigan State University. Prior to joining the Cox School, he served on the faculties of the University of Arizona and Rice University. Dianna L. Stone received her Ph.D. from Purdue University and is a Professor of Management at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her research focuses on a number of issues including diversity in organizations, Hispanic work issues, the influence of culture on human resource practices, electronic human resources management (eHR), and information privacy. The results of her research have been published in such journals as the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Academy of Management Review, Personnel Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Human Resources Management Review, the Journal of Management, and the Journal of Applied Social Psychology. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Dr. Stone received the International Community Award in Orlando, FL in 2006 and was named one of the Top Ten Women in Orlando, FL in 2002.
