THE BUSINESS JOURNAL OF HISPANIC RESEARCH (BJHR) fills a need within the business community for empirical research on topics that relate to Hispanic executives, managers and professionals, as well as those individuals who work for, with or supervise Hispanic Professionals. This is the first and only journal that will contain cutting edge research and managerial implications for Hispanic professionals/executives. Our journal focuses on research that has strong implications for management and organizations and the research will targeted to the Hispanic Business Community. While many research journals focus on employment and business areas, there are very few articles that tap specifically into research and issues directly related to Hispanic business professionals. Some facts about the BJHR:

BANNER SPECIFICATIONS

  • Banner ad size: 460pixels wide X 60pixels high
  • File specs: .jpg (.jpeg) or .gif format
  • Deadlines: Artwork must be received at least 7 days prior to placement
  • Insertion Order: Must be received 14 days prior to placement. It should include:
    • Order Date
    • Ordered by and Contact Information
    • Start and End Date
    • Duration
    • URL that banner will point to
    • Banner Graphics (jpeg or gif format)
    • Size
    • Banner Caption
    • Rate (including any discount if applicable)
    • Special Instructions
    • Signatures and Date


MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Business Journal of Hispanic Research is perfect-bound, trimmed to 8" x 10.

All bleed pages must have 1/8" bleed on all sides.

Dimensions provided take into account perfect binding and offset printing factors.

Dimensions for bleed ads allow for 1/8" bleed trim at all edges; hence, advertisements will have full visibility into the gutter. If spread material is supplied as one unit, it will be cut apart at the advertiser’s risk. Thus, type and important subject matter should be kept at least 5/16" from trim on ALL sides. Bleed insertions must be designed to run on both right- and left-hand pages.

There is no additional charge for bleed.


GUIDELINES FOR DIGITALLY SUPPLIED ADVERTISEMENTS

  • A High Resolution PDF file is the preferred format for all advertising materials.
  • If you are unable to provide a PDF file, please provide all artwork in the following formats: InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop
  • Files smaller than 5MB may be sent via email to:advertising@cabelloassociates.com
  • Files larger than 5MB should be uploaded to our FTP site, which can be accessed using any web browser

DIGITAL AD SPECIFICATIONS

  • Final digital files should be sized to 100%
  • Photos must be either grayscale or CMYK
  • Photos must have a final effective resolution of 300 dpi to ensure high print quality.
  • Photos must be saved as either TIFF, or if a clipping path is used, as EPS
  • Line art must have a final effective resolution of 1200 dpi
  • Created color must be CMYK
  • Run FlightCheck on the ad before shipping it to ensure all necessary files are included
  • Shipping Checklist For Digital Ads
  • Please include the following files/information when shipping digital ads:
    • A printout of the ad (or digital proof if you require a color match)
    • All screen and printer fonts used in the ad
    • All scans and illustrations used in the ad
    • The software program used and version in which the ad was created
    • A printout of the disc directory, showing the name of the ad and all contents on disc
    • Production contact and phone number
    • A copy of the insertion order
